Est in 28th August 2008
TWO YEARS ON AND STILL STRONG!
Star-Light Theatre Group is a registered charity (SC041704) which is a East Dunbartonshire based dramatic group,
dedicated to the production of high-quality theatre. We perform three musicals a year at multiple
Theatres with many other shows for kids and small cabarets.
We hold open auditions for all our productions and we are always keen to welcome new Actors/Singers/Dancers, stage crew and technicians to help us to produce excellent theatre. In Star-Light Theatre Group, we encourage our members to take part all aspects of our productions, on-stage and off. As a member, you could be playing the lead in one production and being stage crew in the next. We believe this creates a good social atmosphere where team work is paramount and all contributions are valued.

FAQS
How do i join ?
if you come along to our open auditions which are advertised on our site
and prepare either a song (If it's a musical ) and a monologue (if its a play)
Who am i Auditioning in front of ?
You will audition in front of the theatre groups Director and Choreographer along side the musical director if there is singing.
What age do i have to be to join ?
Adults must be aged 16 + to join our adult company but we do have a Jnr company who put on a Jnr production from 5 - 15 yrs old.
How much does it cost to become a member of your group?
we have some fees in our group which are ; Audition fee (£5) Rehearsal Fee (£2)
and Memberships which does vary from production to production.

- Jnr Production £25
- Plays are £25
- Pantomimes £30
- Musical Revues £25
I just want to to go for a main role do i have to attend the club auditions ?
Yes of course all new hopeful members must pass there club audition in order to be in the production
then we will do a 2nd set of auditions to cast the roles.
